About the Role: QA Engineer (India | Fintech | Web & Mobile)

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who can ensure the BondScanner platform is fast, stable, secure, and reliable across web and mobile. In a financial product, trust is everything - and your work will directly influence user confidence and product credibility.

This role is ideal for someone who loves breaking things systematically, writing test plans, automating flows, and ensuring every release meets the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Owning QA across the entire BondScanner platform (web + mobile).

  • Creating and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies.

  • Performing functional, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing.

  • Conducting end-to-end testing for onboarding, KYC, transactions, and investment workflows.

Automation & Tools

  • Building and maintaining automated test suites for critical product flows.

  • Working with tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, BrowserStack, or similar.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Working closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure requirements are understood and validated.

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using structured reporting.

Release Excellence

  • Ensuring each release cycle is stable, predictable, and well-tested.

  • Verifying bug fixes and performing regression testing before production deployment.

What We Look For in You

  • 2–5 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing for modern web/mobile products.

  • Strong understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and defect life cycles.

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium/Appium) is a big plus.

  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.

  • Knowledge of basic SQL for test data validation.

  • Bonus: Experience testing fintech, trading, payments, or regulatory workflows.

  • Detail-oriented mindset someone who notices the smallest inconsistencies.

  • A strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering a bug-free user experience.

iii. KYC is one time exercise while dealing in securities markets - once KYC is done through a SEBI registered intermediary (broker, DP, Mutual Fund etc.), you need not undergo the same process again when you approach another intermediary.

iv. Investor awareness on fraudsters that are collecting data of customers who are already into trading on Exchanges and sending them bulk messages on the pretext of providing investment tips and luring them to invest with them in their bogus firms by promising huge profits.

v. Advisory for investors - Clients/investors to abstain them from dealing in any schemes of unauthorised collective investments/portfolio management, indicative/ guaranteed/fixed returns / payments etc.
