About the Role: Android Mobile App Developer (India | Kotlin | Fintech)

We’re hiring an Android Developer to build BondScanner’s native Android app - a high-performance, secure, and intuitive experience for fixed-income investing in India.

You will own the Android codebase end-to-end and help translate BondScanner’s product vision into a smooth, reliable mobile experience that inspires trust and simplifies investing for everyday users.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building BondScanner’s Android application from scratch using Kotlin and modern Android development components.

• Designing clean, scalable architecture using Jetpack libraries and best practices.

• Implementing onboarding, login, KYC, discovery, checkout, and investment-related flows.

• Ensuring app-level security, encrypted storage, and safe API communication.

• Working closely with backend, design, and product teams to create seamless user experiences.

• Optimizing performance, UI responsiveness, load times, and overall app reliability.

• Writing maintainable, well-tested code with reusable components and clean documentation.

• Managing Play Store deployments, release cycles, debugging, and monitoring.

What We Look For in You

• 2–5 years of experience in native Android development.

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose/View, Coroutines, and modern libraries.

• Strong understanding of app architecture patterns (MVVM / Clean Architecture).

• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, secure local storage, and background tasks.

• Focus on UI/UX quality, smooth transitions, and pixel-perfect implementation.

• Experience optimizing Android apps for performance, device variations, and network conditions.

• Bonus: Prior experience in fintech, trading, payments, or regulated environments.

• Ownership mindset, someone who thrives in fast-paced product teams and can ship independently.
