Introducing Family Accounts : Manage Your Family's Bond Investments Together
Product Team - BondScanner • 06 April 2026

The One Question Every Family Investor Has Asked
Many families have one person who naturally takes the lead on finances — helping parents track their FD maturities, keeping an eye on a sibling's bond portfolio, or simply being the one everyone turns to when they need to understand their investments.
And for a long time, that person has faced the same friction: logging out of their own account, logging into someone else's, doing what needed to be done, and switching back. Over and over again.
We heard this from our users more than almost anything else.
"Can I manage my parents' investments without logging in and out every time?"
The answer is now yes.
Introducing Family Accounts on BondScanner
Family Accounts is a new feature on BondScanner that lets you access and view your family members' investment accounts — all from your own login, with no switching required.
It's built around one core principle: consent first. Family account access is enabled only after the respective account holder explicitly authorises it. No one can view your investments unless you say so.
Up to 5 family members can be linked to your account
Seamless account switching — move between profiles without logging out
Consent-based access — every link requires explicit approval from the account holder
One login, one place — your account becomes the hub for your whole family's investments
Whether you're the designated family finance person or simply want to stay more connected to the people you care about, Family Accounts was built for you.
What You Can Do with Family Accounts
Once a family member authorises access, here's what becomes possible — all from a single login:
View their bond portfolio — see holdings, interest schedules, and maturity dates at a glance, just as they would.
Track upcoming maturities — stay on top of key dates across the family so no reinvestment opportunity is missed.
Stay informed on returns — understand how the family's fixed-income portfolio is performing, across all linked accounts.
Switch accounts in seconds — tap to switch between your account and any authorised family member's, whenever needed.
Whether you're helping an elderly parent stay on top of their bonds or keeping a young sibling's first investment on track, Family Accounts makes it feel natural — not like a chore.
How to Get Started in 3 Simple Steps
Go to your Profile section in the BondScanner app.
Find Family Accounts and send an authorisation request to the family member you'd like to link.
Once they approve, their account appears in your switcher — ready whenever you need it.
That's it. The person you're linking simply receives a request and taps to approve. Their investments stay theirs — you just get a clear, authorised window into them.
You can link up to 5 family members to a single account.
Invest Together, Effortlessly
Bonds are often a family affair parents pass on their approach to fixed income, couples invest together for long-term goals, and adult children step in to help manage what their parents have built over decades.
Family Accounts is BondScanner's way of supporting that dynamic. Not by merging finances or overriding privacy, but by making it easier for families to stay informed and involved — on their own terms, with full control.
Link your first family member today. Head to your Profile, open Family Accounts, and get started.
