Product feature update: Hide important details with a single click
Atharva Joshi • 27 January 2026

Introduction
Many of you told us that you often check your portfolio in shared spaces at work, at home, or on the go and don’t always want sensitive amounts visible on screen.
This update is about giving you control over what’s visible, without changing how you use the app.
Why We Built This
Checking your holdings is a frequent habit.
But full visibility isn’t always comfortable especially when someone else can glance at your screen.
From your feedback, a few themes stood out:
1. You review portfolios at work or in public places
2. You sometimes share screens or phones
3. You want quick access without exposing numbers
Privacy shouldn’t require extra steps or trade-offs. It should be instant.
What’s New
You’ll now see an eye icon on the Holdings page.
With a single tap, you can hide:
Invested amount
Returns
Yield
Tap again, and everything is instantly visible when you want it.
How It Works
One tap hides all sensitive values
One tap reveals them again
No settings to configure
No impact on navigation or performance
Your holdings remain fully accessible only the numbers are masked.
Designed for Everyday Use
This feature is designed for real-life moments:
A quick check during a meeting, reviewing holdings while commuting, browsing your portfolio around others
Your information stays visible only on your terms nothing more, nothing less.
Built from User Feedback
This update came directly from how you use BondScanner in everyday situations.
We’ll continue making small, thoughtful improvements like this focused on clarity, comfort, and control—guided by your feedback.
Investing is personal.
And your portfolio should feel private, secure, and comfortable to check wherever you are.
More thoughtful updates coming soon.
