Apply for Bond IPOs Directly on BondScanner

Secondary market, meet primary
BondScanner was built to help investors discover and invest in bonds available in the secondary market. From filtering bonds by yield, credit rating, and tenure to placing orders in a few taps, the platform brought much-needed clarity to what was once an opaque, broker-driven market.
Today, we are taking the next step. You can now apply for bond IPOs on BondScanner, from both the app and web.
Whether you have been tracking a company's upcoming bond issue or looking to invest in corporate bonds at the primary stage before they hit the secondary market, BondScanner now covers both ends of the bond investment lifecycle.
What's new: Bond IPOs on BondScanner
Bond IPOs are now live on BondScanner. Here is what you can do:
Browse all currently open bond IPOs in one place, without hunting across exchange websites or offer documents
View key offer details including coupon rate, tenure, credit rating, minimum application amount, and allotment basis, all on a single screen
Apply directly from the BondScanner app or web, as the full application flow is available on both platforms
How to apply for a bond IPO on BondScanner
Applying for a public bond issue on BondScanner takes just a few steps:
Browse open bond IPOs and select the issue you want to apply for
Review the key application details and offer information, all consolidated in one place
Enter your UPI ID to initiate the payment mandate
Receive a UPI mandate notification. Your application amount is blocked against the IPO but remains in your bank account
Your funds are not transferred at the time of application. The UPI mandate simply blocks the required amount, and it is only debited as per the applicable allotment and payment process.
What happens after you apply
Once your bond IPO application is submitted on BondScanner, here is what to expect:
Your application amount stays in your own bank account while the UPI mandate is active and is not transferred until allotment
If you receive an allotment, bond units will be credited directly to your BondScanner-linked demat account
If you are not allotted, the UPI mandate is released automatically and no amount is debited from your account
Please read the offer document carefully before applying. Allotment is subject to the terms and basis of allotment of each issue and is not guaranteed.
