Muthoot Finance: Highest Ever Loan AUM @ Rs1.64 Tn

Mr. George Jacob Muthoot, Chairman, The Muthoot Group, said, “We are pleased to announce another quarter of robust performance, marked by significant milestones in our Loan Assets Under Management (AUM). Our Consolidated Loan AUM has reached a new landmark, crossing Rs. 1,64,000 crores, with the Standalone Loan AUM also exceeding Rs. 1,47,000 crores. The subsidiaries contribute a solid 12% to the Consolidated Loan AUM. This performance is underscored by our Consolidated Profit after Tax for 9M FY26, which saw an 84% year-on-year increase to Rs. 7,209 crores.

Its standalone gold loan assets under management rose ⁠50% year-on-year, taking total AUM 50% higher to 1.63 trillion rupees. Total ​revenue from ​operations rose ​68.5% to 81.80 ‌billion rupees. Net interest margin or lending margins rose to 13.38% for the quarter from 12.77% in the previous quarter and 11.27% a year earlier. Analysts expected Indian gold ​loan financiers to ​see strong ​loan growth in March quarter ‌amid high prices for ​the precious ​meta. Earlier this month, smaller peer Manappuram Finance reported a bigger-than-expected ​profit helped ‌by strong gold-loan growth.
